To uncover the number one town in each Australian state, Demographer Bernard Salt analysed 752 towns based on data collected from 4 million Australians in the 2021 Census. Criteria included diversity, prosperity, skills and wellness, with the picturesque location and first-class amenities of Bright’s thriving community considered major influencing factors.
